This new facility located within TAFE’s Wyong campus provides a fit-for-purpose Animal Studies facility.
The project involved demolishing the old Block K, including existing solar arrays and their supporting structures, followed by the design and construction of Block O.
Block O features a variety of internal learning spaces including:
Small Animal Housing (Temporary & Permanent)
Grooming/Hydrotherapy
Workshops/Classrooms
Surgery
Labs (Wet & Practical)
Imaging Room
External facilities include:
An outdoor space for students and staff
Four outdoor kennels and a dog run
One poultry pen
Two aviaries
New 11 space car park
This facility meets the increasing demand for Animal Studies on the Central Coast whilst enhancing educational outcomes through modern, practical learning environments.
